"Staged" Bike ride??

It looks like these two cute kids are having a good time in the summer sun... and growing fast! I can't believe they're already cruising around on bikes! Time flies...

Now Uncle Jeremy sent me these pictures of Avery and Chelsea on their wheels without any comments - so I figured I would provide more insight based on my observations.
-
I was wondering if these were candid photos, as Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jackie's home was framed nicely in each shot - either a rare coincidence - - or a professional camera man staged this photo session with each child, to make it look like they were having the time of their lives (centered precisely in front of their own home). Now I could be wrong, but just fyi - - the bar is set higher for photos that come in from Jeremy, I expect more "candid" creativity from a guy that has carried around a camera since he was 10.

Happy to see that a good younger brother never misses an opportunity to take a shot at his older brother! Although I have to admit that these do look like perfectly framed photos.

Believe it or not, these AREN"T staged photos. I took them with my phone when we were outside the other day. My home being in the background is in fact a remarkable coincidence.

A keen photography expert would have framed the subject just off center to adhere to the "rule of thirds" which you can reference at this link:

www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds

So this either makes me a poor photographer, or these are in fact "candid" shots. Now my photography ability may be suspect, but even a person who films while slipping on a skateboard would use the "Rule of thirds".

After review of said link, it is obvious that these photos do not adhere to the rule of thirds.

Here's a possible scenario. You were going to frame the shot so each of your kids were in the photo's power point. You slipped, twice, at the exact same time you snapped the shots - - causing each of your kids to be accidentally centered in their respective photographs. So I have two options to choose from:

1) Poor Photographer
2) Candid Photos

Did you slip twice?
