Icky Sticky Mud Balls
We're back in the USA, baking in Brazil was rather difficult over the last 1.5 years, so Mom made some cake pops with the kids -- Dylan was calling them "icky sticky mud balls", no idea where he got that from.

More from Buenos Aires

Recoleta Cemetery
We visited the famous Recoleta cemetery while in Buenos Aires -- over 4000 above ground vaults, some of which declared national historical monuments. There were quite a few notable monuments, of which I really only recognized Eva Peron (history was never my strong point), nonetheless it was quite an interesting place. Aside from being able to see the caskets through some of the vaults, the kids were mainly interested in the spiders and the stray cat that was lurking around -- typical cemetery stuff.

Buenos Aires
We just got back today from Argentina, another beautiful city in South America that we were able to make it out to -- and safe too, we used public transportation the entire trip. We spent half the time sight seeing and the other half at places that cater to kids (kids' museums, etc). Restaurants didn't open until 8pm, so our routine was to be back by 6pm for a quick rest (naps for the kids) and then head out for dinner. The kids enjoyed some late nights on the town, and by the end, were quite used to the routine.

Foz do Iguaçu - the actual falls
Nature at its best, these falls seem to go on forever! Very spectacular, I took a ton of pics. The safety standards aren't quite the same as in Niagara Falls, if you want to take a speed boat trip near where the falls take a nosedive -- it's available. Additionally, the walk ways are about as close as you can get to roaring water. I was very impressed with the scenery, more so than Niagara Falls -- Iguacu actually has 3 times the water capacity compared to Niagara (so I was told by our tour guide).

Foz do Iguaçu - Vacation
We took a weekend trip with Grandma in town to Iguaçu Falls, these are a few of the pics from the bird park (Parque das Aves). I have about 500 pictures to sort through, so plenty more to follow -- I just need to find some time.
