Cousins in town

The WNY cousins stopped in for a weekend visit, the kids had a great time and the weather was unseasonably warm to boot.

Mall of America

"What did I get myself into?"

Wouldn't be a trip to Minnesota without a stop at Mall of America.  My observation -- it was pretty big.

Minnesota Trip

 

Took a trip to Minnesota a few weeks back to visit some old friends who used to live in MI.  Can't believe it's been 8 years since we last saw them, had a good time catching up and seeing some of the area.

Upland Hills Farm

Nice farm about 20 miles north of where we live.  Visited the usual suspects (cows, pigs, horses) and then went on a hay ride.

Back to school

Both kids are back at, 3rd and 1st grade -- kids are growing faster and the parents are growing slower.

Sand dunes

Perfect evening for our last night, we all went to the sand dunes after dinner.  Definitely plan to come back here for another vacation.

Dinner night

Dinner night on the sound.  Good eats, nice view -- relaxed out at the pier after dinner.  Only one mishap at the dinner table, one of the kids somehow flung ice out of their cup onto a nearby table of onlookers -- most found it amusing.
