This was seconds after we arrived...

The ham at it again.

This was our first trip to the west coast of MI, what a nice beach -- we'll definitely be going back.  We made a day trip out of it, takes a little under 3 hours to get there from our house.  Next time around we'll probably make a weekend out of it, had to check it out first.

Sunday night snack

The kids roasted marshmallows before bed the other night -- of course they enjoyed it, who wouldn't??  Only kicker is that Smores are quite difficult to eat, even I can't seem to keep the mess off of me -- now put it into the hands of the crazy little man, 50% chance a change of clothes will be required.  So far Little D's track record is perfect, no wardrobe changes required.

Dream Cruise'13

This weekend was the annual Dream Cruise down Woodward.  Plenty of things to see and do -- at a price you cannot beat.  Maddie's friend stopped by and we all went out for a few hours to check things out.

I realized these could have been combined with the prior post -- too late though, I'm not going back to combine.  Plus I've been slacking quite a bit the past couple of months on the blog, this will take me to 4 posts for August.  I'll tell you what though, the weather this summer has been great and we've been taking advantage of it.

Maddie and Dylan went over to their friends' house last weekend for dinner and smores.  All the kids went in for seconds, of course I had one as well...
