Weekend update

Bad to the bone

We all headed downtown to enjoy the festivities -- corvettes, bounce house, hockey, food and more.  The kids had a blast walking the streets.

Family Visit

Grandma, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Jackie, Avery and Chelsea came out to visit last weekend.  Grandma extended her trip so she could be with the kids for the week while we were at work.

The First Catch

Little D's first catch

Here's Maddie coming out of her shell, this is a big step -- holding a live worm

Madison's first catch

We have a little place to go fishing that's only 5 minutes away.  Dylan had a great time, Madison had fun until a snapping turtle tried to eat her first fish as she was reeling it in.  It's a nice little spot, we caught 6 fish in about an hour.

4th of July Celebration

At the local fireworks on the 3rd.  Little D wasn't too thrilled about getting his picture taken.   Dylan fell asleep 5 minutes before the fireworks started and slept through the entire show!

On the 4th we had friends over at our new place -- Isabella, Alexandra and Max.  Everyone had a great time!

Summer is here

There's a slide that goes with this pool too, for some reason I didn't take any pictures while they were actually utilizing this inflatable display -- I'm just glad it isn't one of those obnoxious $500 floats that take up the entire lawn (and are used once or twice a year).

6 Years Old

I haven't had much time to post anything these past few weeks since we've been busy packing up and moving into our new home (and we were internet-less for a few days in there as well).  I do have a backlog of about 100 pictures though, hopefully I'll get caught up by the end of the day -- so here it goes.

These are from June 9th, for Maddie's 6th birthday bash.  Everything went smooth and both Madison and Dylan had a great time with their friends.
