Spring Show

Madison's class sang a few songs for the parents as part of their Spring show yesterday -- it took me a good 15 seconds to spot her!

All geared up

Now he's ready to go!  Dylan did his first open skate in full gear, he's determined.  I was reluctant at first to send him out with everything on, turns out, he liked it better -- wipe outs are painless.  Dylan is able to keep his balance around the rink (he sort of walks and then glides) and one time he actually got himself back up completely unassisted -- impressive with all of that equipment on!

Weekend festivities

Maddie was invited to a birthday party down the street, one of her friends from class.  Apparently Madison was the only girl from her class that was there -- a lot more boys than girls from what I hear.  She had a good time, the magician provided some good entertainment.

Our deer friends

We didn't see our deer friends for most of the winter, however they came back in full force, I counted 10 of them!  The kids loved it, nice to have nature right at your doorstep -- they hung around for about 15 minutes.

Sneak Treat

Turn your back for 1 second and Little D will search every part of the kitchen until he finds a treat.  I think we know who's been leaving miscellaneous leftover snacks in random areas of our home lately....
