Mayhem - this is about where we lost control and decided to pack it up.

We made it to the park again over the weekend – arriving fairly early (10AM) and joining the hundreds of people already there.  Parking was quite the struggle since the place was already hopping… ended up at the furthest point from the playground, but we were able to walk around and have a good time.   

A new weekend pit stop

There's a nice park that's fairly close to our place, we just have to get there early.  We're heading out there again tomorrow so Madison can use her scooter... the grounds around our apartment just don't cut it, too many hills.

Random pics

This is the Zamboni that smoothed out the ice for the Disney show we recently went to.  1,000 passes and 25 minutes later, the show was ready to go on!  To Brazil's defense, I don't think annual zamboni sales surpass 1 per year in this country.

Newspaper stand on a hill, no problem -- three rocks will keep the business running, that is until a 5mph breeze blows the place over.

Last day/week of school

The last week of school was packed full of activities (of course one of those activities included Maddie's big day).  Unfortunately Maddie has to tough out her 6 week vacation in the frigid winter months, with highs only touching the 70 degree mark.

Birthday Party

We had Maddie's birthday party on Sunday.  First we took her to Disney on Ice (the show started at 11AM), came home, then had some friends over for Madison's party. 

Chilly

A cold foggy morning down here -- 50 degrees!  Dylan is going to have some company in a couple days, Madison's last day of school is Tuesday -- she's off for 6 weeks and then starts up Pre-K2 the first week of August.

Drive to the beach

We went through about 5 tunnels through the mountains.
