10 Seconds = No Phone
For those of you who have been trying to contact Cathy and haven't heard back...
Apparently you're not supposed to let your child use the phone for teething - - even for a few seconds. After we pulled the drool soaked phone from Maddie's mouth, we were left with a blank screen and funny noises. So, you heard it from me first (there's no mention of this in the phone manual), don't let your children eat the phone!
Two weeks after the incident, we bought a new $40 phone. Yes I know, we went thrift - this cell phone is one step above the fossil rotary phones we used 20 years ago... but what can I say, I'm an old penny pinchin' family man now. Bottom line, Cathy's "competitively priced" phone is now back in service.
Just days after the initial incident, Madison was caught again. Luckily, she could only get her hands on a toy version this time.
